Averages include all demotions such as engine change penalties. The pre-2003
career reflects the change to single-lap/restricted qualifying format - I
don't propose to update the career figures.

---- Indicates changes in track length and/or layout.
Note: 2005 was decided on "single lap" qualifying. Since 2007 the grid has been
decided on a three-period knockout system. The "pole time" is no longer
necessarily the fastest time set during qualifying.
There have been 21 Grands Prix at the modern Spa-Francorchamps,
seven have been won from pole position (last was Räikkönen in 2007),
four have been won from second (Häkkinen in 2000),
six have been won from third (M Schumacher in 2001).
Four have been won from a lower grid position - Mansell (1986/5th), Prost
(1987/6th), M Schumacher (1995/16th) and Räikkönen (2004/10th).
Average grid position of winners = 3.333.
The old circuit hosted 18 GPs and the AGP of the winners was 3.500.

hydraulic problem that sidelined him. As in the morning session the BMW Sauber
team were able to resolve the problem and get him back on track before the end
of the 90m. Heikki Kovalainen also had a mechanical problem that required
recivery and correction.
Today was the first day for the Spyker team under new ownership - the official
handover occurred yesterday.

Subject: Delayed Statistics
Having been away on holiday I have failed to post the usual statistics
from the Belgian GP.
I have also not posted anything about the Japanese GP.
The Chinese GP starts tomorrow!
I'll post all the usual stuff when I can, but I aim to do it all in
chronological order, so the Chinese stuff will have to wait until I
clear the backlog.
To avoid confusion I'll post all the Belgian data on one thread, all
the Japanese on a separate thread, and - if necessary - all the
Chinese data in a third thread.

Subject: 100 Career Points Milestone
Hamilton is only the sixth driver to score 100 points in a single season. The
others were:
Nigel Mansell 108 1992
M Schumacher 102 1995
Mika Häkkinen 100 1998
M Schumacher (2) 108 2000
M Schumacher (3) 123 2001
M Schumacher (4) 144 2002
M Schumacher (5) 148 2004
R Barrichello 114 2004 [1]
Fernando Alonso 133 2005
Kimi Räikkönen 112 2005 [1]
Fernando Alonso (2) 134 2006
M Schumacher (6) 121 2006 [1]
Lewis Hamilton 107 2007 [2]
1. Runner up in the WDC (all others won the WDC)
2. Season incomplete
Lewis Hamilton became the 61st F1 driver to exceed 100 career points. He is,
of course, the first to do so in his debut season. Only one driver has passed
this milestone in their second season - Jacques Villeneuve.
Here's a roughly chronological list of the 61 to reach 100 points:
1953 Ascari & Farina
1954 Fangio
1958 Hawthorn & Moss
1963 Brabham, Clark & McLaren
1964 G Hill
1965 Ginther, Gurney & Surtees
1968 Hulme
1969 Stewart

mistrzostwa. I dlatego uznano to za niesportowe.

Za dużo gdyby...
Gdyby Alonso, gdyby Vettel...

Kubicę, i Schumachera.

Obietnica dotyczy tez nastepnych
wyscigow.
